Our Story
Blue Corn Cafe opened on Ninth St. in June of 1997. With a dollar and a dream owners Antonio Rios and Danielle Martini-Rios set off to serve the public a fusion style flavor of all Latin and South America. They knew staying true to their roots and heritage was important when deciding on what menu and ingredients to bring in. At Blue Corn, we serve everything from Cuban-style beans to authentic hand-rolled empanadas. We bring in fresh plantains, mangoes, guavas, and more.
Chef Antonio enjoys fusing the flavors of his native country Mexico with authentic flavors from all over the Caribbean and South America. Our mission is simple, fresh organic ingredients that are prepared on-site daily. Served by people that enjoy the ownership and atmosphere we are offering, and believe in the concept and cuisine we prepare.
